FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How is Cilatil different from other treatments?

Cilatil is different from Vedafil® or Viagra®, both of which contain the same
ingredient (sildenafil). Cilatil contains tadalafil, which is from the same family
of medications as Viagra and Vedafil (PDE5 inhibitors) but it lasts longer.
Cilatil is available in two strengths – 10 mg and 20 mg tablets.

  • How much does Cilatil cost?

Cilatil is not funded under the public health system, so you will have
to purchase it privately. See our Cilatil Rewards loyalty programme for
information on how you can reduce what you pay for future Cilatil packs.
    Price may vary between pharmacies.

  • How long does it take for Cilatil to work?

It varies between individuals, and it is recommended to take it 30 minutes
before sexual activities. You don’t have to worry about taking it with food
    and alcohol.

  • How often can I take Cilatil?

Cilatil is effective up to 36 hours after taking it. It is therefore recommended
you take it no more than once a day. Listen to your doctor’s instructions
    when using Cilatil.

  • Can I take Cilatil if I’m on other medications?

Cilatil must not be taken if you are currently taking any nitrate medications or
guanylate cyclase inhibitors for treating chest or heart conditions. Talk to your GP
or pharmacist about any medications (including over-the-counter medications)
you are taking so they can advise whether Cilatil is suitable for you.

  • Are there any special offers available for Cilatil?

Yes! Read about our Cilatil Rewards Programme.
